Ping-Shun Chan

Ping-Shun Chan(陳秉迅)was born and raised in Hong Kong. Prior to 2009, his art training
consisted primarily of art classes given at Columbia University in New York and the Ohio State
University, and visits to various art museums in Europe. In 2009, having decided to undertake a
more thorough and traditional training in visual art, Chan enrolled at the Academy of Realist Art
in Toronto, Canada. In 2011, Chan returned to Hong Kong. He paints almost exclusively from
life. His subject matter mainly consists of everyday objects that he collects from his own
surroundings.
