Lisa Huang

Born in Singapore with a professional background in interior architecture, Lisa is a self-taught artist in oil, watercolor painting and print-making. Accumulating a massive mental library over 20 years in the field of luxury design, she applies a deft sense of composition, mark-making and intriguing color palette to her art. Painted en pleinair, her works suggest the broad field of vision, energy and life which one experiences when being outdoors.
Since relocating to Hong Kong, she has been obsessed with recording this city that is bursting with contrast at almost every turn - grit and glam, chaos and calm. Her art paints Hong Kong in an unorthodox and dynamic expression, some described it as almost alive.
